Anthony Zora, owner of Bean & Bagel Co. in West Bloomfield opened his self-proclaimed “Mom and Pop shop” when he saw a vacant storefront and took the opportunity. The bagel and coffee shop serves bagels, bagel sandwiches, coffee, latte, tea and hot chocolate. Popular menu items include the sunrise bagel with egg and bacon or sausage and the pastrami bagel. The eatery also makes its own cream cheese in a variety of flavors. Zora looks forward to serving ice cream and juices this coming spring.
