Mother-daughter co-owners of Broth Masters, based in Ferndale, are proud of their organic, slow-cooked chicken and bone broth. Dorothy and Laya Barak got into the business when seeking healthy foods that were anti-inflammatory and good for gut health. The broth comes frozen and has no added sodium or preservatives, and it’s available to ship nationwide. Made from pasture-raised bones and fresh vegetables, the broth is thick and hearty, and good for sipping alone or for use in recipes.
