“The arts are for everyone,” says Dwayne Hayes, the executive director of KickstART Farmington, a gallery and artisan shop in downtown Farmington. It houses rotating exhibitions and a shop with art in various media, from paintings to pottery to jewelry. KickstART Farmington is also a nonprofit organization that provides film, theatre, music, and other arts programming for the community, such as book readings and free art workshops.

Inspired by the need for a breathable, wire-free alternative, Paula explained that the Bra-Less Bra allows wearers to feel free while still feeling secure. She emphasized its versatility for lounging, everyday wear, and layering, redefining comfort for women everywhere. Bra-Less Bra is the only breast-lifting tape of its kind!

What’s New? – Great Lakes Pot Pies

Jannie Teitelbaum, owner of Great Lakes Pot Pies in Clawson, stopped by to tell us about a new offering for St. Patrick’s Day – shepherd’s pie. Available March 10 through Easter, it features ground beef and vegetables and is topped with mashed potatoes and cheese. The business’s handmade pies also include the original chicken, beef stew, vegetarian, breakfast pies and dessert pies like apple. You can find the chicken pot pies in over 400 stores, including Meijer.

Lily’s Seafood

Liz Morton, co-owner of Lily’s Seafood in Royal Oak, stopped by to tell us about this downtown gem. The eatery, which recently celebrated its 25th anniversary, makes all of its dishes and sauces in-house. Popular menu items include the salmon Reuben and sesame ahi tuna, but there are also chicken and pasta dishes to appeal to the masses. Enjoy Lily’s dog-friendly patio, which opens April 1, or attend the April 6 Tartan Day celebration in honor of Scotland’s independence.
