Michelle Neal, owner of Never Forgotten Bakery in Farmington, has a new service to announce. Her bakery now participates in DoorDash. Customers now have the convenience of ordering their bread and other baked goods via the DoorDash application and having it delivered directly to their homes. Of course, you can always visit the bakery, too!

Walt Gajewski, market manager for the Farmington Farmers Market, stopped by to tell us about strawberry shortcake day on Saturday, June 22. It’s a fundraiser for the market and a sell-out event, with the market opening at 9 a.m. and shortcake available starting at 9:30 a.m. The cost is $5.

What’s new with Ground Control Coffee Roasters in downtown Farmington? They’ve launched a “disloyalty” program whereby customers can get a card stamped at other small coffee shops, and if they get six total, they get a unique coffee mug. It’s a nod to the fact that Ground Control’s customers travel throughout the metro Detroit area and have a common love for coffee, said Trent Chapman, director of operations. Pick up your card at one of six participating businesses listed on Ground Control’s social media sites.
