Ara Sotelo, owner of Carajillo in downtown Ferndale, stopped by to tell us about her authentic Mexican restaurant, which opened at the beginning of the year. Popular items include the quesadillas, sopa de tortilla – a tortilla soup – and many more Mexican favorites. You can also enjoy a full bar, including the carajillo coffee and liqueur beverage that’s the restaurant’s namesake. Come enjoy the cozy, casual atmosphere, complete with a bar and an outdoor patio. The last Friday of every month, you can enjoy karaoke in the evenings.
