What’s New? – Ptashka Crepes

Jenya Semenkova, manager of Ptashka Crepes, was excited to tell us about trying out for Shark Tank earlier this month. We may see her on the show if Ptashka is chosen. Also, market season is here, and Ptashka will be at Eastern Market every other Saturday and Birmingham Farmers Market every other Sunday, as well as at markets in Traverse City and Petoskey. You will also see Ptashka at the Berkley Pride Block Party on June 21. The business is just a couple years old, and is now in 150 stores in 10 states.

Ptashka Crepes

Ptashka Crepes

Ptashka (the “p” is silent) is a Ukrainian business founded by Jenya Semenkova, and her mother. Based in Oak Park, the two-year-old business offers sweet and savory crepes, which are traditional foods in Ukraine. The crepes are handmade with locally sourced ingredients and then frozen for easy heating at home. Choose from apples and vanilla, farmer cheese and raisins, cherries and vanilla, mushrooms and cheese, ricotta cheese and spinach, or cabbage and white beans. Crepes are available in 100 stores in 10 states, or they can be ordered online and shipped.
